So instead of getting anything of importance done today I read the last third of a fantasy book that I've been stringing along for the better part of a month.

Has it been that long? I have no sense of time anymore. I need out of this rut.
Anyhoo. Of course it has to be book one of a series that isn't all out yet. In fact it is the only book of the series out so far. Even worse it just kind of leaves off without any sort of real ending!

It just occurred to me that I will be guilty of a similar crime in less than a month. And should fate smile kindly upon me in the next year or so people will be making the same fuss about Mercator book 1. I have to believe that he will be picked up. Because I have to finish his saga. I have to. How could I leave his tale unsung? He's too good for that fate.
